I bought my Alpenhitze Custom Coat over 4 years ago for my Great Dane, Adonis. I was so excited to find a company that would custom make a coat big enough for my dog. I was unsure of the sizing for Adonis, since he was still growing, but luckily Jeff was very helpful and friendly in giving me the best measurements for Adonis. My dog will not go outside in the winter for more than 5 minutes, but with this coat, Adonis loves to take long walks in the snow. I would highly recommend this coat not only for its durability, but also for the warmth and ease of movement for the dog. The coat does not bother Adonis at all when he wears it and he gets so many compliments on how stunning he looks wearing it. The embroidered name really added that extra personal touch to the coat. Recently, the coat got a rip in it during one of the walks we took (assuming from a really sharp branch). Jeff was kind enough to offer to repair it for free when I contacted him as to what I should do to prevent it from tearing. I have never gotten such personal and caring customer service before and I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone with a dog... small AND large. I will be a customer for life because of the quality of the product and the excellent customer service.
